Twenty animations now in the 1.8 in progress...what? Yeah, I've been animating a fair bit.

Patreon supporters can vote for who they'd like to see more animations of in the current poll, running for 11 days, if you're at the Regular level or above. Multiple votes there are allowed. I'm curious who people end up voting for - Daisy / Sara / Vanessa / Naomi weren't options, but basically every other love interest in the game is a choice.

Photoshop is an amazing tool. I reviewed this scene and (with edits) it's going to stay in the game in the remake version; there's good stuff in the last 30% or so of the game that's got better visuals (depth of field, etc) that I'll be updating similarly to ensure I can meet the goal of wrapping up everything by April this year.

The animations for this scene with Rose were improved as well with visuals that are less dark, and match the newer look. Of course, the update later this month will have a lot of brand new content as well. Unlike a lot of the newer scenes, the face expressions are dialed up a lot in this one too, which I think fits the scene, given they're all a bit tipsy.

The 1.08 is the existing, full version of the game that was completed about a year and a half ago give or take with a few expansions.

The 1.7 remake edition is, well, the same game but remade from scratch, rewritten, with almost as many images as the production game, brand new animation, a metric ton more music & sound effects, and overall an infinitely better experience. If you haven't played before, I'd try the remake instead of playing the existing version.

The last (ha!) well, last *known* bugs were fixed in the Steam / Patreon / Itch edition from this evening, with the release notes on patreon updated for the 1.8.

So obviously, those aren't backported to the 1.7 here so if you see any bugs feel free to share, just keep in mind it might already be sorted. Over the weekend, I had a few people volunteering that helped edit, update, and improve a *ton* throughout the game from the beginning to the 1.7, and that all went into the 1.8 that was shipped over the weekend.

compared to the 1.7 here, there's another 47 animations, and more than 400+ new images. :) For a few metrics now, the remake is larger (images, audio) than the original game.

There are now 14 scenes in the replay, of which, 1 is a remake with the same animation from the prior version of the game with updated visuals, all the other 13 scenes in replay are brand new in the remake. Four are new in the 1.8 (three new, new, and the one remade scene) which aren't in the 1.7 here.

Amongst other things you'll see in 1.8, Daisy wears some brand new lingerie ;)

Universal TextBox Mod

Add Sliders for Textbox Opacity, Text size, Text outlines, Textbox width and Text position.

I'm an amateure so keep it simple is my Motto.
There isn't a Universal text mod that I've found so I've been modifying the game files.

Extract TextBox Mod.rpy to game folder
Usage:
Start playing the game, bottom right of TextBox button "Text Mod" in red will take you to the setting screen.
Text Settings screen look for the red button "Back in Action".

tested briefly in game version 1.7

My man, there's already a slider for text box opacity in the game...is adjusting text size and the other things something a lot of people want to do with the game?

If so, I can easily add those things.

For example, prior to 1.8, the Replay wasn't in the left menu, similar to my other game Horny Holiday, so I went ahead and added it to the menu for people to easily access before they begin playing. Such things are pretty easy to do and a far better experience if they're built in to the core game.

Dude, they are simple modifications that could easily be added to your game, matter of fact I encourage it.
Just modify the say screen and add the sliders to your preferences screen.

I'm an old fart, need glasses. I like to set text size to 36 or 38 and outlines to 3 or 4.
Set textbox wider and move as close to the bottom of the screen as possible.

The only thing I'm not happy with is the function I came up with to position the textbox, requires game restart.
I tried adding xpos, ypos to the who, what statement and thing got stupid.

For games with no side image there is lots of room for text at the bottom of the screen.

Gotcha, I'll take a look over the weekend and see if I can bundle this into the next update. If you scroll back in the thread, a lot of the improvements in the game are related to feedback here, or Discord, or Steam.
